We purchased the set for our three yr. old grandson for Christmas. They are very high-quality materials. Grandson loves the set. The price is reasonable for the quality. They will last for years. Great investment for children.

I thought this a wonderful gift and it may turn out to be, but the parents decided that the older kid should be held back to play only with toys age appropriate for the toddler. Grrrrr. Hopefully, they'll keep it around and the kids will be allowed to use them someday. I come from a science background, but I never really learned to think until I began using tools. Hope these kids don't have to wait until they are middle-aged to learn this.

Our Grandson exclaimed, ""Just what I wanted!"" when he opened his tool set. He used his hammer to help his grandpa build a bird house that his 6 year old brother designed. he also loved having his own tape measure.
