Once again, this was also a Christmas gift for our 5 year old granddaughter. She loves running and biking. She and her parents came of with so many new contests they did to see who could do things the fastest.
Perfectly fine for young children. I have given these stop watches 9-10 years ago and they are still working !! ...so, of course, now that I have a new group of children ..I knew they must have them !!!
I bought 2 of these and only one worked when it arrived which was very disappointing. With the business of the holidays I did not have a chance to return it. The other stopwatch is great though! My kids use it to time races, reading, etc. My littlest loves pressing the buttons and calling out the numbers on the screen.

The granddaughter, who is 8 years old, was really pleased with the stopwatch - she needed to time her trips around the parking lot on her bicycle. She didn't need anything complicated, just this simple tool for timing - and she'll think of more uses for it.
My son loves this stopwatch! He wears it around his neck and times himself when he washes his hands, sets the table, and other fun things. The battery is still going strong. The buttons on top are easy to push and the numbers are large enough to read easily. I would recommend this to any kid!
My grandson, who is 5, is learning about time - and this is a great tool. He can brush his teeth for two minutes, see how long it takes to get to school, how far he can ride his bike in a specified time. He finds it fun as well.
